Safe Everywhere, Fun for Everyone

London Cycling Campaign "Safe Everywhere, Fun for Everyone" films (16:9) and social (1:1) shot on a Sony FX3, using prime lenses, and an insta360, this film was made by and for cyclists in London.

Shot over a hot summers weekend in August, it was a pleasure to make these films for the LCC.

After the response to the "London Loves Cycling" film I made for the LCC previously, when offered the opportunity to make another, I jumped at the chance. I wanted to make a film that shows the effect that cycling has on those that ride their bikes, a little, or a lot. The smile that it brings to your cheeks, and the joy that forms in you when you make the city you live in, a little bit smaller with every turn of the pedals.

I wanted to continue the theme of JOY. The everyday joy of using active travel to meet your friends, take your kids to school, or heading back from an impromptu shopping run. The joy that cycling provides.

Cycling makes those who ride bikes happy, and when you’re happy you want to share that with everyone around you. This film is our way of sharing that joy to as many people as possible.

These films are part of the London Cycling Campaign's ongoing commitment to ensure every Londoner has the opportunity to ride their bike, and cycling in every corner of London is safe and fun.
